Volunteering at Jannu Ferides

Solidarity and social commitment are among the 10 key areas of action that support the achievement of the founding objective of Jannu Ferides:

Cura de ferides per a tothom
Cuidado de heridas para todos
Wound care for all

With this aim, and among other activities, Jannu Ferides is developing different socio-health volunteering programmes, in accordance with current Spanish legislation (Law 45/2015 of 14 October on Volunteering; Head of State; Official State Gazette “BOE” No. 247, of 15 October 2015; reference: BOE-A-2015-11072).

The volunteering projects of Jannu Ferides are open to all members of the organisation and will be carried out in collaboration with partner entities with which formal cooperation agreements are in place.

As the different volunteering projects are defined, they will be publicly presented in this section of our website.

Travel and subsistence expenses for participants in Jannu Ferides volunteering programmes will be borne by the volunteers themselves. Being a member of Jannu Ferides is an essential requirement to participate in these programmes.

Jannu Ferides places the greatest emphasis on ensuring that all its volunteering programmes are fully aligned with its mission, values, shared commitment, and its 10 pillars of action.

Jannu Ferides is committed to ensuring the best possible conditions for participants in its volunteering programmes, in collaboration with the local organisations involved. However, volunteers are responsible for holding valid medical and travel insurance, as well as the appropriate professional accreditation and the legal coverage required to carry out their activities.
