In compliance with Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPD-GDD) on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) on the protection of personal data, and Law 34/2002 of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), Jannu Ferides Association informs Users that a profile has been created on the social networks Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with the primary purpose of providing information and promoting its products and services.

The User has a profile on the same Social Network and has chosen to join the page created by Jannu Ferides Association, thereby showing interest in the information published on the network. By joining our page, the User provides their consent for the processing of personal data published on their profile.
Users can at any time access the privacy policies of the respective Social Network and configure their profile to ensure their privacy.
Jannu Ferides Association processes the User’s public information, especially their contact name. This data is only used within the Social Network itself and is not incorporated into any internal files.
Regarding the Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Objection

Right of Access: This is the User’s right to obtain information about their specific personal data and the processing carried out or being carried out by Jannu Ferides Association, as well as information about the origin of these data and any communications made or planned. Right to Object: This is the User’s right to prevent the processing of their personal data or to have such processing stopped by Jannu Ferides Association. Like the right to erasure, it can be exercised, for example, by unlinking the profile to which the user is connected.

Right to Restriction: The data subject can request the limitation of the processing of their data in the following cases:
The data subject contests the accuracy of the data.
When the data collected are not necessary for the purposes of the processing but are required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim.
When the data subject objects to processing while it is verified whether the legitimate grounds of the Data Controller override those of the data subject.

Right to Data Portability: The data subject has the right to receive their personal data, previously provided to the Data Controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, for the purpose of transmitting them to another Data Controller, without the original Controller preventing such transmission. In exercising the right to data portability, the data subject may also request that the data be transmitted directly from one Controller to another.

Right to Erasure and the Right to be Forgotten: The data subject has the right to have their personal data deleted when:
The data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.
Consent has been withdrawn and there is no other legal basis for processing.
The right to object to processing has been exercised and no legitimate grounds for processing prevail.
The data have been processed unlawfully or must be erased due to a legal obligation of the Data Controller.
The data were collected in connection with the provision of Information Society services.
To exercise any of the rights described above, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Submission of a written request addressed to Jannu Ferides Association at Violant d’Hongria Reina d’Aragó, 107, 08028, Barcelona, or by email to info@jannu-ferides.org.
2. The written request submitted by the data subject to exercise their rights must meet the following legal requirements:

Full name of the data subject and a copy of their ID. In exceptional cases where representation is allowed, the representative’s identification by the same means will also be required, along with the document proving the representation. The photocopy of the ID may be replaced, provided the identity is verified by any other legally valid means.

Request specifying the purpose of the application. If no specific file is referenced, all information held containing the subject’s personal data will be provided. If a specific file is requested, only the information from that file will be provided. Requests regarding a third party will never be provided. If requested by phone, the data subject will be instructed to submit the request in writing, along with information on how and where to send it.

4. The data subject must use any means that allows proof of sending and receipt of the request.
Use of the Profile
Jannu Ferides Association will carry out the following actions:
Access to the public information of the profile.
Posting on the User’s profile any information already published on the Jannu Ferides Association page.
Sending personal and individual messages through the Social Network channels.
Updates of the page status that will be published on the User’s profile.
The User can always control their connections, delete content that is no longer of interest, and restrict with whom they share their connections; therefore, they must access their privacy settings.
Posts
Once the User has joined the Jannu Ferides Association page, they may post comments, links, images, photographs, or any other type of multimedia content supported by the Social Network. In all cases, the User must be the owner of such content, hold the corresponding copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of any third parties involved. Any publication on the page, whether text, graphics, photographs, videos, etc., that offends or may offend morality, ethics, good taste, or decency, and/or infringes, violates, or breaches intellectual or industrial property rights, image rights, or the law, is strictly prohibited. In such cases, Jannu Ferides Association reserves the right to immediately remove the content and may request the permanent blocking of the User.
Jannu Ferides Association will not be responsible for content freely published by a User.
The User should bear in mind that their posts will be visible to other users, making them primarily responsible for their own privacy.
Images that may be posted on the page will not be stored in any file by Jannu Ferides Association but will remain on the Social Network.
Contests and Promotions
Jannu Ferides Association reserves the right to conduct contests and promotions in which Users connected to its page may participate. The rules of each contest, when conducted via the Social Network platform, will be published there, always in compliance with the LSSICE and any other applicable regulations.
The Social Network does not sponsor, endorse, or administer any of our promotions in any way, nor is it associated with them.
Advertising
Jannu Ferides Association will use the Social Network to promote its products and services. In any case, if it decides to process your contact data for direct commercial prospecting purposes, it will always comply with the legal requirements of the GDPR and LSSICE.
Recommending the Jannu Ferides Association page to other Users so that they can also enjoy promotions or stay informed about its activity is not considered advertising.
